Japan Candy Box Sept 2015 Review + Cheeky Giveaway
A little while ago, I discovered the adorable Kawaii Candy Box, a monthly subscription where you're sent all sorts of cute Japanese/Korean goodies - from a happy piece of toast to a bum-numbingly soft lemon (check out the post), and recently I've discovered they also do a version for candy alone, so I jumped at the chance to review a box (and to sign up for the rest of my life).
CANDY SODA BALLS
I think my favourite goodie in the September 2015 box is this incredible DIY candy kit! I was curious to see how these actually worked and whether there'd be advance preparation before you get to paint your gummies (which is really the part we all want to skip to) but there really isn't.
This little packet cleverly provides you with everything you need. You simple pour the 3 colour (RGB) sachets into the sections, mix with water (teeny plastic measurer included), and then make your own colours in the palette. You squeeze the mouldable candy into the stencils (the trickiest part), carefully peel them out and wah-la, you're ready to paint with the teeny instrument provided! So. Much. Fun.
If you'd like to purchase any of these items seperately, check out the bottom of the post to see how.
CORIS GUM GUM
As a lover of design, an addict of candy and as a skilled procrastinator, I highly recommend the Japan Candy Box. It's easy to sign-up, whether it's 1, 6 or 12 months and it's exciting to get a box of treats through the post every month, full of things you'd never expect! You can subscribe to the Japan Candy Box by visiting their website, or buy any individual items by visiting Blippo.
Now you guys can win a box of your own to experience for yourselves! Just enter the giveaway below, and you'll be entered into the prize draw to win! The more tasks you complete, the more entries you'll have entered into the draw (and the higher chance you'll have of winning)!
