What's in Archie's Easter Basket?
Easter always passes by in our house rather uneventfully; we aren't particularly religious, Mr J is usually working and though we're all showered in chocolate, it all seems a little bit too much for me (and that's coming from a major sweet tooth!). I do still want to make it special for little A so this year, I decided to put together a small basket of goodies for him; some treats but also some non-food items he can enjoy just as much. So, here's a little sneak peek into what's in A's Easter hamper this year..
Homesense is usually my go-to shop for any special occasion so I wasn't surprised to find some really cute and unique treats for Easter; I picked up this adorable wooden bunny for only a few quid and found this delicious marshmallow easter egg by Cocoabean, plus a little box of Guess How Much I Love You jellies, which I had to buy as it's one of Archie's favourite books!
I also found these awesome little multi-coloured chocolate/marzipan eggs in Homesense, and included them though I think they'll be more to Mummy & Daddy's taste; I just loved the way they looked like a real punnet of eggs. Lastly, A's We're Going On An Egg Hunt book and Bunny Megabloks were both bought from Amazon; I wanted to buy him a book as he loves reading and thought the blocks would make a nice non-foodie treat!
