We love visiting.. Stratford-upon-Avon

Over the past few years, we've fallen into a lovely tradition of visiting the beautiful Stratford-upon-Avon once or twice a year, usually nearing Summertime and even though we had a busy week, when my parents invited us on Saturday, we couldn't say no. Mr J's son, Finners, was staying for the weekend and all of the boys always have a great time when we go. It's incredible looking back on our previous visits and seeing how much the boys change from year to year.

_
We'd had a mild few days previously and we were lucky enough to experience the same again so we didn't have to worry about coats all day (Summer's coming!!) and we had Fish & Chips for tea; something that always makes me feel as if I'm on holiday! All the boys were so well behaved (even Archie) and as we're still technically in Winter, it wasn't as busy as it has been when we've visited before so there were no problems finding somewhere to eat at peak time.

_
We didn't do anything Shakespeare-esque this time around (bar a wander around the RSC which I'd highly recommend if you're visiting - even more awesome than it appears) as we've done the tourist-y things previously, so we just had a walk around the shops and down by the river before grabbing a drink in the pub to relax at the end of our day. There's a great new shop called Magical Alley or similar and it's a mythical fan's dream, selling everything from card tricks to actual wands; there's also a couple of old-fashioned sweet shops (mine & my Papa's favourite) which sell chocolate frogs for any Harry Potter fans out there - *cough* Me *cough*.
