Years ago, in the age of the Neopet (which looks almost exactly the same as it did 10 years ago), kayxxmalfoy met a girl online who turned out to be frickin' awesome. 10 years on, countless letters, ex-boyfriend rants and WhatsApp messages later, and Cadi is now one of my closest friends, yet we've still never met. She's been incredible to me, and since Archie was born, she's indulged him with gifts, beautiful words and lots of love - I know that she cares for him like he's her own, even though she's never met him.

She spoils us both silly and she's the one who knows me better than I know myself. She's introduced me to music I love, films I adore and quotes I repeat over & over again. We've spent hours doodling pears and badgers and completely understanding what the other one is talking about. She's had struggles & I've had struggles that we've helped each other through and continue to do so. I love her like a sister, even though we've never met.

Then one day he went away and I thought I'd die, but I didn't, And when I didn't, I said to myself, "Is that all there is to love?"

So, when we received a parcel in the post this week addressed to little A, I thought I might just have an inkling who it was from (that and she'd pre-warned me of a little surprise a few days before)..

I tried to stall Archie so we could wait for Daddy to get home but as you can see above, that was not an option!

So, a huge thankyou to our wonderful friend, Cadi, who does so much for us. I hope you know how much we love and appreciate everything you do (and we will be returning the favour soon, I promise)! One day soon (perhaps this year), we will finally meet and hopefully it will bring us even closer together and little A will get a chance to thank you himself (probably by pulling your hair & poking you in the eye).
