I've unintentionally taken a small break from blogging over the past couple of weeks, but it's really worked out for the best. I indulged in a small redesign of the site, cleaned everything up a bit and now I'm feeling it again. Jesse's been suffering since his immunisations so I've been able to focus on him whilst having time to lounge about in the evening's, watching GBBO and recharging my batteries. I'm ready to get stuck back in though, so I'm starting with my goals for the next month.

01 See the girls more.
A few nights ago, my favourite ladies popped over for a natter (and a wine) and it was awesome. It's been such a long time since we've all been in the same room and I think we all realised it's something we need to do much more of. I have barely left the house of an evening since well before Jesse arrived and since quitting my job, adult chat has been severely lacking. We have a date for our next catch-up but need to ensure we all stick to it!

02 Slow down.
I've realised recently that I'm always in such a rush to do everything. I'm always racing around trying to squeeze everything in to no time at all (I know, this is parenting, right). However, I feel so much more fulfilled when I know I've taken my time and done something thoroughly. I know this is fairly vague, but it literally applies to pretty much every task in my life.

03 Get back into blogging.
Just this! I love blogging, I do, but since sort-of going full-time with it (I'm also a freelance designer so not entirely), I've lost a little love and been feeling the pressure to get paid opportunities. It's not nice to feel as if you're relying on the work and I want that fire back just to write, film & photograph.

04 Start Christmas shopping!
I'm sure I mention it alot, but Archie is a Christmas day baby meaning it's always a doubly hectic time for us. Now that Jesse's here too, it means three loads of presents to figure out. We don't go crazy with gifts, but I do feel the pressure to ensure Archie gets a fair amount, just as he would if his birthday was on a seperate day. Planning seems to be key, so we pretty much know what we're getting this year, we just need to start!
