Review: Jolly Jungle Gro To Bed for Cot Beds
Once Archie turned one, he was quickly promoted to a duvet and pillow as he'd get frustrated tripping over his sleeping bags when trying to stand in his cot. He absolutely loved the change and we've never looked back, but there is one small problem we've always had; A is a total fidget-bum and even in his sleep, will constantly manoeuvre around his bed, kicking his duvet and pillow off in the process and often ending up getting cold during the night, leading to unnecessary waking.
The Gro to Bed is the only product I've come across that solves this problem, as the pillowcase is attached to the top of the sheet, preventing the pillow from moving around and the duvet cleverly zips to the sheet, keeping it put at night time. I worried at first, wondering if A might get stuck under the duvet, but once the Gro to Bed arrived, I realised the zips are quite short, and it isn't zipped all the way round (as I imagined) so we've had no such issues.
I wasn't sure how A would take to the Gro to Bed, as he seems to enjoy being a fidgety sleeper, and will often fall asleep with his pillow over his head and his duvet bundled around his feet, but so far we've had no problems at all, and lo and behold, once we check on him, he's sound asleep, snug in his bed as he should be!
Though the Gro to Bed is a little pricier than your average duvet set at £49.99, you do also get the sheet included and we've found it totally worth it for the extra hours of unbroken sleep we get each night! A is so comfy and they also come in some gorgeous designs; we opted for the Jolly Jungle, but there are a number of different patterns to suit each child's personality. You can also buy a spare sheet (with pillowcase attachment), which we'll be investing in as I'm sure the Gro to Bed won't be off of A's bed unless absolutely necessary.
