Here's to 2017.
It's quite possibly felt like the fastest year I've experienced thus far in my life (no surprise, with 3-0 just around the corner) and my, what a year it has been. There's so much I could talk about, how I've encountered the biggest change since having children at all (leaving my sturdy workplace to be a stay-at-home, freelancing Mum), how I've grown as a parent this year, how there have been so many lows but also so many highs, but really I just want to share these recent photos of us.
I started the year wanting to be in front of the camera more, alongside the boys, and I believe I've achieved that, but I've ended the year wanting to ensure we get more shots of the four of us together. We'll never be here again, the parents to this 1 & 3 year old; in four days time, the 3 will be 4 and in a short 6 months, the 1 will turn 2. I'm more aware than ever (since almost certainly deciding a #3 won't be on the cards) that we won't be parents to young children forever, and as hard as it can be sometimes, I'm desperate to savour it before these days have passed completely and we're no longer woken in the night or cuddled and clung to on a daily basis.
This may or may not be my last post of the year, but it'll almost certainly be the last post before Christmas, so I wanted to end the blogging year with a post that embodies my blog and what I want it to become; for us as a family, for my creative side, for my love of kid's fashion (but certainly not my own), for finding a photographer inside I never knew existed, for my Mr who works so hard and misses alot so I don't have to and for my boys, because we owe all of the above to you.
