I've said it umpteen times over the past couple of months but I love Autumn; it makes outdoor photography so effortless when every backdrop is littered in the most beautiful hues of colour. Sadly, the trees are almost bare, the fallen leaves are turning and Winter is clearly on its way, but I still have a few shoots from the season to share. I thought I'd write a quick catch-up of what we've been up to recently as life has been as busy as ever and I occasionally like to empty my thoughts here. There's also a little some exciting news about gift vouchers I've decided to offer for the Christmas season below.

Archie's been thriving in school, has now mastered writing his name, is starting to read and has also begun to draw (something he never showed any interest in before, but he now draws all of us as heads with arms and legs regularly). I do worry for Jesse as a summer-born baby and have been considering whether we should defer him for a year after researching and seeing that the majority of summer-born children are proven to be at a disadvantage for the entirety of primary school. I'd rather him start when he's ready and thrive than spend school constantly trying to catch up with others. He doesn't currently attend a nursery as I work from home so we'll see how he copes with pre-school next year before we start the [supposedly long and complex] process.

We're super busy preparing for Christmas (and Archie's birthday) and have almost finished buying for the boys and family. That mischevious elf will be visiting our household this year for the first time and I'm looking forward to a festive month, though there's currently a giant horse sitting in my living room that I've no idea what to do with or where to hide (a present for Jesse). I've also been trying to push my design business and have some exciting news below:

I've also decided to offer gift vouchers towards my design services so if you're looking for a more unique present for someone this year, drop me a message and I'll send you a voucher that can be used towards a new logo, header design, business cards or theme customisation! To see examples of previous jobs I've worked on and find out more about what I can do, check out my design services page here.

I'll also be running a December giveaway for one lucky person to win a bespoke header or logo design (equivalent to around £150) so sign up to my email list below in the footer to make sure you're informed of when it starts!

A quick catch-up on Christmas and summer-born babies, as well as news on buying gift vouchers (tell your partners!) towards a new logo, header design or business cards and how to be informed of my upcoming giveaway to win one of the above instead.

Did you know I'm a graphic designer too? If you're looking for help to brand your business or make your blog beautiful, check out my portfolio!
