Fashion Friday; Snap Happy - Say Cheese // 021

This week, we received a cheeky delivery from Zara so I thought I'd share a few bits with you this #fashionfriday as they are so awesome. I love Zara, they sell the best kids stuff and the prices are so affordable and the items are so quirky (which I love). I fell in love with A's camera jumper as soon as I saw it, probably as my family joke I go everywhere with my camera (I do) and A is starting to be really interested in what I'm doing too - he always wants to nosy at the pictures I've taken and always wants to play with it. Anyone have any recommendations for toy cameras for toddlers? He'd love one of his own to practice with.

The jumper is a really thin knit, so perfect for Summer evenings
Since yesterday, I've been preparing myself for the stormy, thundery, very wet weather. I made sure our window was open before bed (I love the sound of pouring rain/thunder at night), I dug out the rainy day games and hung out the washing (that's bound to bring on the bad weather) but lo and behold, it stayed beautiful all day long!
We've also been indulging in a few projects around the house the past few weeks. Now that the crazy newborn funk that used to swim around our heads has lifted and all of the baby apparatus has been taken apart and put away, we finally have time to give our home a little love (it deserves it after being covered in baby vomit and explosive diarrhea for the past year). I undertook a little project with the shelves in our living room that I'll be sharing this week on the blog and I'm so pleased with it - from DVDs we'll never watch and general crap to my favourite design books and colour block prints I'd hidden away and forgotten about, we even have a plant (and I love it!).

I digress, my Mum bought A these Frugi duck dungarees a little while ago and he finally got to wear them for the first time today. I adore Frugi clothes, but as they're pricier than the norm, we don't splash out too often but it's nice to be able to get the odd piece that can be saved for the future kids too. I should also mention A's sandals as he's wearing them with both outfits and they've been featured in a previous Fashion Friday post (An 'It's Sunny' Edition) - they're our go-to shoes when the Sun's out as they seem to go with everything!
