Fashion Friday; Be Like The Cool Kids // 026

It's been a crazy, exciting week for Hello Archie; I didn't publish a post on Wednesday for the first time since I decided to set a weekly blogging schedule (Mondays, Wednesdays and, of course, Fashion Fridays), but I wasn't just putting my feet up with several glasses a glass of wine, surrounded by a variety of treats thinking 'f**k blogging, I have hobnobs & tea'. No, I was actually working harder than ever on a new page, something that I've been wanting to add for a long time but have always put off doing in the past..
I am, of course, talking about our new Design Services page, where, after gaining a few enquiries from other bloggers, I've decided to include all of the information you might need to hire me to make you pretty things! I swear it's not as dull as I'm making it sound..

How grown-up can an 18 month old look? About 21 apparently, how cool is this outfit? I was so chuffed with these denim shorts from Next as we all know, denim goes with everything (except maybe more denim?). Wonderful Nanny bought him a couple of these shirts from H&M as they're perfect for summer and we're heading away on holiday in a few weeks time *silently woops* —
I'm so looking forward to beautiful sunny evenings with Pimm's in hand, watching A's little face light up when we visit the beach or go to the club. Of course, in reality I'll be restraining a screaming toddler who's trying really hard to kick me in the face because the staff inconsiderately closed the pool at 6pm, when he was quite clearly not finished splashing water in Daddy's face. But I'm always open to being positive..

A's 'I love my Mummy lot's & lot's' tee is another fab Next find, I love the ombre (the designer in me is dying to say gradient) style, and I also love forcing these kinds of opinion on my son; YOU DO LOVE YOUR MOTHER!
Now, a little off-topic but I have a really important question for you guys; Mr J's birthday is coming up and I'm at a complete loss for what to buy him! I'd like to perhaps make something, maybe a hamper of his favourite things? But any ideas for relatively non-expensive, thoughtful gifts would be great! I've seen all of your crazy imaginative, crafty posts, so drop anything you might have in the comments and help a Mama out (also, if you have any ideas for gifts from the kids, I'd be very grateful!)..
Did you know I'm a graphic designer too? If you're looking for help to brand your business or make your blog beautiful, check out my portfolio!
