Fashion Friday; Not All Treasure is Silver & Gold // 027
Ahoy there mateys. Friday is upon us again and we have a pretty exciting weekend ahead of us, have you? It's Archie's half-brother Fin's tenth birthday tomorrow and we're also heading to a local air show, fingers crossed the weather holds out for us (exactly where did Summer go?). On Sunday, we're having a little shindig to celebrate and getting some of the family down for an indoor BBQ (because the weather most definitely isn't going to hold out) so it's going to be a pretty busy one! I'm keeping my fingers crossed A handles the noise well at the air show (loud noises don't usually bother him, but this is really loud) but we've got the ear defenders at the ready, just in case.
Little A's cute pirate PJ's are from one of my favourite places for baby clothes (especially jim-jams), Baby Gap! I also featured a different pair that he has in a past Fashion Friday post (Mischievous Monkeys & Puppy-Dog Eyes) that are just as awesome. The only thing to remember is that we find their sizes run pretty small. A is normally 18-24 months in bottom/12-18 months in tops and these pyjamas are age 2+ but they're pretty snug on him.
We took advantage of the sunny weather last weekend and headed to the local park. A unintentionally ended up looking pretty smart (not ideal for the park, but oh well!). His awesome green tartan shirt is another Next special, along with his denim shorts (featured in last week's Fashion Friday too - Be Like The Cool Kids). We're really enjoying taking advantage of the sun at the moment so he's pretty much living in shorts; even when the skies turn dull, thankfully it's still pretty warm.
It's just a quick one this week, as I'm now going to be completely rushed off my feet preparing our stuff for the air show tomorrow and preparing for the BBQ, ahh. I've also got a pretty exciting opportunity coming up for the blog that I can't discuss (early days) but if all goes to plan, it could be pretty awesome.
Did you know I'm a graphic designer too? If you're looking for help to brand your business or make your blog beautiful, check out my portfolio!
