Fashion Friday; Dressing Baby on a Budget // 008
Hello Friday! We've had a pretty hectic day which is unusual as it's usually just me & Bub at home together. This week, Mr J was off and we took a trip to Gloucester to see the family and pick up A's brother, Finley, who's staying with us for the weekend. Archie got to spend some time playing with his baby cousin, Aiden, and I haven't witnessed anything funnier recently than a 14 month old trying to roll an unsuspecting 8 month old around the room and attempting to pick him up via his dungarees (no babies were hurt during the making of this blog).
We bought this Tazmanian Devil set for A a little while ago in size 18-24 months; I didn't think it would fit him for a while but thankfully I dug it out and (although it needs a couple of roll-ups on the legs and arms) it fits him quite nicely everywhere else and it's so cute! I can't believe how cheap this set is as it's flippin' adorable and so soft & comfy, I want one, especially as raglan tops are my favourite thing.
This week is a George special because almost everything A is wearing is from there. We managed to snap up a couple of items in the sale for super cheap, including A's stripy top below (a set of 3 for £2!), so if you want to pick up some bargains, it's still on now.
Now Little A has mastered the art of walking, he's moved onto climbing; we've had a nightmare this week with him clambering on top of his toy box and making his way up onto the side table, then on to the sofa. It's pretty amazing to watch as he's so determined but now we're going to have to have eyes in the back of our heads, cue many more bumps on the head.
We took A out for dinner today (I briefly mentioned in his 14 month update how much easier life is now he can eat from the kids menu) for a treat and I didn't realise that he looks like a little French boy in these clothes, I especially love his 'Grandad' hat. This whole outfit is from George at ASDA, besides his super cute black daps, which were a bargain from H&M.
This week, I'll be posting about dreams and the effect they can have on our day-to-day life (for me anyway, as I'm especially susceptible to them). If you're bored, remember to check out our 10 Awesome Gifts for Designer Mums post for some gorgeous Mummy's day buys!
