Fashion Friday; Hello Sunshine // 017

After the horror we were facing last week (I never want to hear the words 'sleep regression' again - view last week's Fashion Friday), this week has been a vast improvement! A was improving immensely during the day and seemed back to his normal self but still seemed to be having an issue getting to sleep at night. I noticed that the sun was beaming into his room in the evenings and as a final thought, figured we'd dig out the Gro Anywhere [Blackout] Blind we'd bought months ago and give it a try.
Well, I owe endless hours of blissful uninterrupted sleep to that blind; since the night we put it up, A has been a complete breeze at going to bed and staying in bed. We've occasionally even had to wake him in the morning, and naps also seem to have improved! I'd highly recommend it if your baby or toddler is having issues getting to sleep in this bright & sunny weather (well, not so much anymore!).

At the park with Nanny & Grandad
I digress! This week we took a walk around our local town gardens and park as A's never been before and it holds alot of childhood memories for me and my family. I spent alot of time there as a young girl with my grandparents and it especially reminds me of my wonderful Grandad who sadly passed away almost 10 years ago now.
As you can imagine, it was lovely to let A run about with his own grandparents (with Mummy & Daddy tagging along) and enjoy himself. A's gorgeous, drool-worthy (you guessed it, Little Bird) jacket was £15 from Mothercare and it's stunning! His vibrant 'My Boy' tee was in the sale at Next. I think it was last Summer's stock; I always umm'ed and ahh'ed but never bought it, so was chuffed to pick it up in the sale for £2.50!
I came across this cute blue romper this week in Tesco and it looks really good on A! If you're a regular reader, you'll know that I absolutely love rompers and couldn't wait for milder weather so that A could wear them more often and this one is especially lovely, and a bargain at only £4.

If you're a regular follower of either my Twitter or Instagram accounts, you'll know that we've been having some work done on our house this week, most notably decking in our garden and today it was finally finished! We're yet to put out any furniture, but here are the before and after shots (and a very chuffed A). We're so happy that the garden is (almost) child-friendly so that A can spend loads of time outside in the Summer - plus we love a good BBQ!

@LittleOandMe Oh no, that's the day I'll become really broody, when A no longer fits in rompers or sleepsuits!
@Stephanie It's amazing the difference it's made, literally overnight things changed!
