Shoes are arguably the most important part of any outfit, whether you're trudging through snow and don't fancy your toes dropping off or heading out on a Summer's day and don't relish the thought of sweatily slipping around your shoes, yet somehow, my brain neglects all of the above and I've had affair few disastrous footwear experiences in my time. From being caught in torrential rain donning a pair of flip-flops (which feels like you're skiing barefoot on fairy liquid) to standing a little too close to the shoreline, resulting in a barefoot mad dash to the nearest shoe seller. Shoes were just something I never really considered to be of much importance, stupid I know, and now I have little one's I'm desperate to keep warm and comfortable, I've realised just how important a good, solid pair really is.

We were kindly sent a pair of these beautiful brown outback boots by Bobux for each of the boys and I was so grateful considering I'm so terrible at finding a decent pair myself and I've been blown away by the different a good pair of shoes really can make, not only to the boys but also to me! We've been out on a couple of unintentionally muddy Autumn walks wearing them where I've been absolutely certain they wouldn't return in one piece, yet found them with almost no mud or scratches on them whatsoever (I would go as far as saying they must be magically self-cleaning). The boy's always ask to wear their boots (I have to practically drag them off each foot at bedtime) and even refer to them as their magic shoes (eavesdropping on their Mummy's gushing, no doubt).

I try to ensure I write as honest a review as possible on my blog and it makes it so easy when you try out a product that you're all absolutely in love with. Bobux do a number of gorgeous-looking shoes, and yes they are pricier than we'd normally pay (these are currently £48 a pop), but they are so worth it; there's absolutely nothing we dislike about them and the boy's wear their magic shoes every single day (and they still look as shiny and robust as when we first received them).

We received the boy's Bobux boots in exchange for an open & honest review.
